Economizing with Floyd's Sweet Potato Rolls..
Well, almost, I used pumpkin. I bought the sweet potato, but I had committed to making a Pumpkin Flan. I've read there was a shortage of canned pumpkin, but luckily had a 28 oz can in my pantry. That can had an incredible yield.
1 Pumpkin Flan
1 1/2 dozen Pumpkin Rolls
(2) 9"x5" loaves of pumpkin apple bread
So, if you are looking to stretch your budget ..this is the way to go.
The rolls were awesome! I made a few changes (can't help myself, sorry) added 3 T of butter, and upped the spices a bit.. they were delicious. A definite have to make for Thanksgiving again. A new family tradition, Thanks Floyd.
