Portuguese egg tarts
Can someone please let me know why my initial thread re egg tarts was removed/moved? What did I do wrong? I saw a couple of responses but I can't seem to be able to find the thread anywhere. Pls adv. so that I don't make the same mistake next time? Thanks.

We didnt move or delete it, and as far as I can tell it's still here - do you mean this one? I think you may have just put it in a funny place (in the Forums under "Photos & Photography") so you couldnt find it again - you can also find things you've posted by going to "My account" and clicking the Track tab.
We generally dont delete stuff without sending folks warnings unless it's very clearly a spammer shoving a bunch of links or nasty content that's totally not even baking related onto the site, otherwise we always try to tell folks if some toes are being stepped on.
Thank you for your response. I posted a pic of the egg tart on the photos section but when I log on it said that "the topic had been moved" so I thought I had posted the egg tart on the wrong section and should have gone to pastries.
I think it also may have been double posted, once in one forum and once in another. Double posts get deleted. I left the one that already had comments on it and removed the other.
Since 90% of folks read the site from the home page rather than drill into the individual forums there is no need to post the same post in two places. It'll get noticed.
