Problem finding information
Is there some way the search function can operate so that when I have read an entry on page X and return to search it can go back to page X and not to page 1. Perhaps it's me, or my computer, but it if it is the way it's supposed to work, it makes looking things up slow and tedious. If it's my fault, please tell me how I can prevent this. Patsy
No, it isn't your fault, it is one of the limits of the embedded Google search I use.
The best work around I've found has been to open search results in new tabs or windows. On my machine and browser I do that by holding down the Command key while clicking the link. I think on Windows Firefox it does the same when you hold down Control. You can also right-click and select "Open link in new tab...". I'll open 4 or 5 tabs with promising search results and then just close them if they aren't what I was looking for.
Thanks, I use Firefox on a Mac, it should be easy.
