lemon dough and dried fruit
I like to cover the fruit with dough as I find that burns hard before the loaf is baked through..

I just made my regular white bread but added a little more sugar, milk instead of water, 1 egg, and a couple of heaped tablspoons of lemon pie filling powder. it was all just an experiment , the finished bread was very very soft and tender, next time I will add some small diced glace cherries and dried apricots..
btw, I doughed up in the Cuisinart food processor.... qahtan
Im gonna have to give it a try. I couldn't live without my food processor!
