despite having been reduced to 480x540.

I have uploaded before and have had no problems. This time this particular picture will absolutely not upload, the little message keeps saying it is beyond the allowable 600x800 pixels, yet I just once again checked its properties and it is 480x619 and a total of 73 kb, so well within the limits of the allowable dimensions, very weird. Let me try it here once again. LOL. The error message uploaded !! Strange. Oh well.
the precise dimensions rather the kbs. So the 480x619 would be a no no, it has to be 600 :)

Hi,
I too keep getting this error message even though my photos are either shot as 480 x 640 or resized to that before attempting to upload.
I have tried other pictures and they upload fine, and then some that I try to upload that have been resized- the upload would say it's "loading" but would sit there all day and never upload anything.
This is very frustrating as I have many pictures I'd like to post but can't!
What can I do?
downsize it so that the higher value is 600 pixels or less. Then it will work
