Daniel's Rustic Bread testimonials?

Hello,

I couldn't really find an appropriate area to post this, so I'm hoping it will be ok here.

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever purchased anything from danielsrusticbread.com

What was your experience? Were you happy with your purchase?

They have a good price on a baguette couche and I'm considering placing an order with them but wonder if they're a reputable company.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I use light duck canvas from a material shop for mine. Couple of bucks a yard.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I live in a small town with only one fabric shop. When I asked them about "duck" canvas, they gave me a look like I was asking for a left-handed pencil.

They indicated that they'd never heard of duck canvas. When i asked them about "untreated" canvas, they didn't have a clue whether the canvas they sold was treated or untreated. Needless to say, they were quite ignorant about the canvas they sold. To them, it was canvas and that's all they knew.

I didn't feel like having a repeat of the conversation regarding burlap (which I've been told is a suitable substitute).

So about the only way I'm going to get a couche is if I buy one ready to be used for that purpose.

So it takes me back to my original question about Danielsrusticbreads.

Heck, I'll be happy to pick up and send you a couple of yards.
