Does anyone know a good place for bags?
I need to find a place to buy bags for my breads. I am tired of wrapping them in saran wrap. Do any of you know where I can get some? It would be nice to find ones that are good for the crusty bread.
PLeasant Hill Grain has wonderful sturdy bags. Here is a link to their site. I was pleased with everything I got from them and very quick service. Caroline

Any time I go to the liquor store for a bottle of wine (yes, Pennsylvania has special stores for liquor, boooo) or any other type of liquor, they put the bottles in a pretty sturdy paper bag about the size of a big wine bottle and then in a plastic bag. I've asked them for a couple of extra paper bags when I go in. They seem to make great bags to transport my bread to/from my friends' houses as well as for storage.
Just thought I would mention that in case you have some place around you that has similar bags, you can maybe get them for free!
