Hello all, found TFL during a search of bread recipes when I came across an article on Lievito Madre. What an amazing site!!  I was a failed baker for many years who dabbled unsuccessfully. Lockdown got me into the sourdough bug that gripped the nation and I was hooked.  Still very much a novice but experimenting with enriched sourdough and Tangzhong and quite happy with my bakes so far. Of course I'm always on the look out for something new and love to learn.  The article on Lievito Madre has me intrigued and I can't wait to start this project.  I've been reading up on the articles about Ezio Marinato and his beautiful pannetone, but can't find anything in English, might be a bit ambitious for me right now. Let's get the LM started and see how we progress, wish me luck!

Here's a tip: TFL has been around for a number of years and there is a huge amount of content that covers just about every bread-making topic you can imagine.  The easiest way to get fast answers to about a question is to use the Search tool.  Just type in a topic in the white box in the upper right-hand corner of the page, then click on the Search button beside it.  You'll get a torrent of posts about that topic. 

Of course, you can always just ask, too.
