How do I make a link in my post?

How do I make a link in my post that people can click on and it takes them to another web page?

Here's the process

  1. Highlight the text that you want to become a link
  2. press the little "link" icon in the text editing window (looks like a little chain)
  3. Type in the web address of the page you want to link to in the "Link URL" text box and click the "Insert" button.

Select "full HTML" as your input format, then you can use an 'a' tag: <a href="web URL here">What you want the link to read as</a>
