I got mine “Inside the Jewish Bakery”
Well I got my signed copy of “Inside the Jewish Bakery” by Stanley Ginsberg and Norman Berg. It is a great book! It has great recipes, great pictures (fun to see that some of the pictures came from some of the testers) and great history.
Once I had some time after browsing and spot reading some of the book I created the following as a spreadsheet. I generally keep this just inside the book cover so that if I am looking for some ideas on what to bake it is always handy. I’ve marked the recipes that I have made (as a tester), those that I would like to bake and those that I am a repeat offender on. Note: this means that the Onion Pockets are Highly Recommended! Also, being a geek I like to keep some statistics at the bottom.

I was curious do any of you do something similar when you get a new book?

That's OCD in an incredibly admirable way! Sometimes I use Things (a to-do organizer iPad app) to schedule cooking in general -- as holiday season approaches, I'll be using it even more. Most of the time, I look and see what starter needs refreshing, and work from there.
