Hi, and pleased to meet those on this community board.

I am new at making bread. I have been working on learning for a week now… yes, very new but not new to wanting to learn howJ

I have always been interested in learning to make my own bread and have used a breadmaker before. I enjoyed making my own bread with the machine, but felt that there had to be more to it than that. I always wanted to learn how to make it the way it used to be made … by hand.

I have to say what got me started on my quest is the primer that is on this very site! A basic recipe that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to learn the basics, it made a difference on me wanting to start learning.

What I am hoping to achieve from this site are two things… (for now, muahahaha!!)

A place to share triumphs, disasters, and questions with others that are interested J

A place to meet and get ideas from other members of the community on recipes, and events.

To all those that I am going to beg for your knowledge from here in advance is a HUGE THANK YOU for being here for me!

I promise that if I can share all my snow with all of you or my cold weather I will :)  Don't fret, I am not a stingy snowlover :)
