Exploding Dutch Ovens?
Ken Forkish's Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast [1] unambiguously recommends preheating a Dutch Oven empty.
I'm about to use Lodge's EC4D43 [2].
But a post on Amazon [3] suggests that 'empty = explosion'.
Any advice, please?
