Artisan Bread Baker Position Opening in Washington, DC
Le Diplomate Restaurant in Washington DC is looking for an experienced scratch production baker to join our team. The Washington Post's food critic has said we have "hands down the best baked bread in DC."
Must be a production baker capable of high volume mixing and baking. Must have experience using poolish and levain and being able to mix both and evaluate ripeness.
We bake a variety of breads including poolish baguettes, wheat-rye levain boules and cranberry-walnut levain boules, among others.
