Zojirushi BB-CEC20: The "Pause" - is there one, or is their ain't? :-)
I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this question - I couldn't find one for Bread Machines.
My wife and I have a new Zorjirushi BB-CEC20 Home Bakery Supreme Breadmaker. It's our first bread machine - and we're just starting out with bread making; we haven't even baked bread "manually" before this. We've made 2 loaves with the machine so far - and loved them both. The machine is well made, quiet, and for two complete amateurs, seems easy to use.
Our problem is that we can't find a way to pause the machine and we're beginning to fear there isn't a way. There is no mention of a pause function in the manual, and none of the included recipes call for a pause, not even for French bread.
At the same time we purchased the machine we purchased a wonderful book full of bread machine recipes. Many of those recipes call for a pause - some of them, like the pate fermentee, call for multiple pauses. Are we locked out of making these sorts of recipes with this machine?
We're hoping there's a work around, or something very simple and obvious that we've not yet seen.
Any help will be warmly appreciated.
