I refuse to pay that much
We love these little baked ham and cheese sandwiches that call for ham, cheese, poppy seeds, butter, mustard and a few other things. Including those Hawaiian rolls from the grocery store. So last week I had all the ingredients but the rolls so off to the store I went. And they wanted nearly $3.oo for one package! I refused to pay it, ran home and dug out a one hour roll recipe I had in my binder, mixed it up and added an extra spoonfull of sugar since I think the Hawaiian rolls are a bit sweet. Baked them as fast as I could, barely cooled, sliced and made up the sandwiches. Back in the oven for 25 minutes and we had lunch. I was nearly $3.00 richer and the hubby thought the sandwiches tasted better. So from this....
To this in a short time. We ate them so fast I almost didn't get a picture. I didn't make all the rolls into the sandwiches. It is just the two of us.
