It's hot enough here to kill yeast!
My daughter-in-law owns http://www.tartineneworleans.com/ and gave me a block of fresh yeast. After researching powder-to-fresh conversion, I decided to make a batch of pizza doughs to grill off and put in the freezer for my husband as I am about to travel to Vermont without him. (he'll be joining me for Labor Day weekend). Here in Orlando, I usually let it rise in the garage in the winter or in the shade on the porch in the summer. I do admit I like the AC set to chilly. I did my thing, set it in the shade, and cleaned up. I peeked at it before plopping on the couch and YIKES, it was rising like crazy. I rescued it and all it well. I use natural charcoal, oil them up, and grill on the radiant side of the grill. It's as close to a oal fired oven as you get.
