Norwegian bread
I learned from the newspaper article that the Norwegian Olympic team have brought their own bakers to bake bread for their athletes. The bread is described as "a rich dark bread --rye, oats and barley combined in the same loaf". I'm very intrigued about this bread. Does anyone know any bread similar to this?
They have rented a bakery in Squamish (a town between Vancouver and Whistler) to bake their daily bread. Extra loaves are sold to local customers. Though I'd love to drive up there to check them out, I really don't want to get trapped in the Olympic traffic. If there is anyone on the forum lives in that area, would you please kindly snap a pic for me ;) ?
