seasoning some linen
I got some linen canvas from SF Baking institute to use as a couche. I wanted to hasten the seasoning process so I washed it and then while it was still moist I coated it liberally with flour, folded it in half and ironed it (from the backside :-). It works great.
PS I also ordered one of their square stainless dough scrapers and I cannot recommend it. It's like Barbie's Dream Scraper or something - tiny and expensive. A disappointment. I'm happy with the linen, though.
