Bread is my weakness

Hello.  My name is Liz. I happened upon this site while surfing the net for new bread recipes.  I love baking breads and pastries.  I am looking forward to reading and discussing the art of baking breads, etc. with other baking enthusiasts.

Welcome! I'm new here too and have been reading and reading. For me there is a lot to learn and a lot of the terminology is way beyond me, but I'm determined to learn how to bake a better loaf of bread.

First I want to thank you for the warm welcome.  I am looking for artisan type breads, sweet breads, savory breads, filled breads, pumpernickel...Gee, I guess all kinds of breads.  I don't think there is a bread that I don't like. I find comfort in baking breads.  I also want to bake a better pizza dough than what I bake now.  I noted that by reading through this forum that a using a starter makes a good pizza dough. I learned something new.  :)
