Submitted by lobsteriffic on November 26, 2008 - 8:46am Long-time lurker, first-time posterHello, I've been lurking around this site for awhile now, but finally registered and decided to start posting. I've been baking bread for about a year and a half now and I really enjoy it. I'm a full-time Ph.D. student so baking is my "me time." In the past I usually concentrated on plain old sandwich bread, but lately I have been leaning toward making artisan-type bread. I'm growing my first sourdough starter as we speak (type?) so hopefully that will be ready to go soon. I can't think of much else to say at the moment. Oh yes, I hail from Saskatchewan, Canada. Nice to meet you all. :)

Lobsterific, I visited
Lobsterific, I visited Saskatchewan for the first time this year. A lovely province, but I am wondering if you chose your name for a reason? I live in Northern Ontario, but was born on the Gaspé Coast of Quebec where the lobsters are indeed terrific.
