Let me tell you, my wife was the first to taste them and when she bit into them her eyes rolled to the back of her head. Just a tad sweet but worth every bite. I am still at an AWE at how good they came out. Her exact words were, " you need to make these on a daily basis".

and I can only imagine the taste.

To be honest, after I applied the filling and attempted to roll it, the dough would not cooperate. So as I did my best to roll it, I ended up  twisting the entire roll. I then cut it up into some what 6 equal portions. I placed them on a dual loaf pan ( one I bought  to make french bread) and baked them. Talk about a twist in the preperation.
