new oven vents excessive heat
I've just finished my DIY kitchen reno and am beginning to bake again with my new GE gas range. My concern is that an excessive amount of heat seems to be venting out the top. Is that just an inescapable part of the gas oven? Before this one I had an ancient gas range that also sent out a lot of heat, but I assumed that was just age and poor design. Before these two, I had an electric wall oven and I don't remember it leaking an inordinate amount. If I replaced the new GE with a dual fuel model, would I have less heat escaping? Thanks for any thoughts!
