Hello from South Florida
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Ashlee, and I'm a young (22) amateur baker. I've been really interested in breads and pastry for a long time, and I've dabbled in a few recipes, but this website has finally made me feel like it's absolutely something I can do without a lot of hullabaloo (or lots of it if I want to dedicate a day or so). I'm just excited to have found a place to get tips on making my breads better and lots of people who give me courage to try new things even if I'm the only one who wants to eat it.
I did some baking in high school (culinary arts program) and quite a bit more in college, but now having graduated and moving into the work force, I was afraid I wouldn't have the time to develop as an at-home baker now that I can't count on having 4 day weekends anymore. I'm glad to see I was mistaken.
