electrolux dlx

I understand that the electrolux dlx is now the magic mill dlx assistant. Does anyone know if they are the same machine and if the acceserys are interchangable.

Actually, it's the other way around. The Electrolux Assistent was formerly sold in the US by a company called Magic Mill and was called by the name Magic Mill DLX. (I'm pretty sure that's the way the story goes - I do know that the mixer I bought just a couple months ago came in a box marked "Electrolux Assistent") The mixer is still commonly called DLX by most people I know who own them.

Don't know if all parts are interchangeable, but I do know that the machine is currently sold with a Higher wattage motor than it used to be (currently 600W, formerly 450W). I have never heard or read anyone saying that the older one's motor was not strong enough, so I wouldn't bother to make that a factor in the decision if you've run into a good deal on an older model.
