I called the Kitchen Resource folks that make and repair the Nutrimill grain mills to check on my machine today.  It was being packed up when I called.  For the record they were a very good company to work with.  There was no hassel and when I forgot to include my personal info in the box, I called to let them know to get it from the box when it came through and they did so as though it was no problem at all. 

I don't know what the warranties are on other grinders, but the lifetime warranty on this is kind of comforting, since now I know they honor it.

In case anyone is wondering it had a bad switch. Terry
