Hobart N50

Hello every one !

I recently restored a Hobart N50 mixer. I dismantled everything, I cleaned, and when I reassembled it, the electric motor was no longer running. it just makes a little noise, like a purr. I'm pretty sure that everything was at the right place...

Did someone have the same problem ?

Thank you :)

I wanted the N-50 at first. It meant doing it myself or to pay a repair shop to do it, costing even more money, so I just bought the Globe SP08 used from Ebay. It's biggert & roomier at a massiive 8 quarts. I has a more powerful 1/4hp motor.  It works great & I didn't have to take it apart at all!! I just cleaned it & spot-painted it, bought the bowl, Splash guard & beaters for it. Works as good as new!!
