Why do I have to keep changing passwords?

I have now joined this site at least 3 times since January, and once before that.  I don't understand why I have to keep changing my password.

I have never ever ever had to *change* my password! And I'm the second account on here!

Are you sure it asks you to change it? I have had the site occasionally forget that I'm logged in, so I re-enter it, but I have it saved in my browser passwords so it just means I have to click login again. I think it does that when Floyd has to upgrade some piece of the software that runs the site, sometimes it logs people out so they have to relogin again...and I thinkat most it's like every couple of weeks....

Your probably clicking on (or have bookmarked) the temporary password URL. Be sure to start at www.thefreshloaf.com. You should never be asked to change your password.

I always go to www.thefreshloaf.com though, and I've had to change my password because it won't accept me when I log in.  This has happened three times at least.  I started wondering if it was because I didn't properly introduce myself.  At any rate, I'm here, with new password, and I do like the site with all the info on sourdough starters and such.  It was the people here who got me re-interested in baking with a starter and I've got to say, I am enjoying it considerably.
