General Mixer model GEM110

Well my KA that I've used for many years has finally given up the ghost which puts me in the market for a new mixer.

I'm interested in a 10-12 qt. size table top model. I'd love to have a Hobart, but unfortunately I cannot justify the absurd $5k price tag for a serious home baker.

I found some old posts regarding the General mixer, model GEM110, that some of you have bought for your home baking. For those of you who have this model General mixer, I'd like to ask if you're still in love with it and if it has served you well to date. Thank you!

Actually no one can afford to justify getting a Hobart. Especially the N-50!! I've seen the price on that mixer for as high as over $3,000!! That is what stopped me from getting one!! And the work bowl only holds 5 quarts. There are other pebbles on the beach!!
