Non-Amazon source of bannetons?

I'm trying unsuccessfully to find a source of bannetons, and it seems everyone is out-of-stock except BezosCo, who I avoid like the plague that it is.

If you know of anyplace I might find some, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Thanks! They had some of what I was looking for, and so I placed an order.

Thanks again for your help.

Brotform.com had new stock in a few days ago, most of which has since sold out.  There are a few sizes left as of this morning...

I see what you mean; they were sold out of most, but they had one left of one I was looking for, so I ordered that.

thanks!

They certainly have some nice-looking gear. And they had the last of the ones I was looking for to round out my purchase, and their bannetons come with cloth liners. Sounds like a topic for another post... ;-)

A first, all I saw was "baskets" made from split willow, with cloth liners. Then I did a search on banneton and found them. Good prices. Thanks!

They have some nice-looking stuff, and I like their politics, too. Unfortunately, they were all sold out...  :-(

The one I got from brotform was of higher quality than the two I got from Brick Oven Baker. The ones from BOB have splicing that isn't as carefully done, and the rattan is a bit more rough. I haven't used them yet, so I don't know if my observations actually make any difference to the finished product. Just my handiwork critic coming out. And the quality isn't radically different. Just seemingly a bit more attention to detail and finish from Brotform. I really want to see one from Breadtopia, since they seem to have put some thought into the sourcing politics, which I like. They also claim that the rattan is of very high quality. Maybe why they're all sold out at the moment?
