Manhattan Meet-Up?

I have been part of this community maybe three weeks now and have learned a lot, and have seen the results in my bread making.

Do people meetup to look at and offer advice on each other's breads? I think I found an old thread that helps with an issue that I have with wet/shiny/gummy crumb, but I don't really know if my bread fits that or if it's perfectly fine.

I really want someone to put eyes and hands on it. I'm in Manhattan. Happy to meet at one of the many farmer's markets. Closest to me is Bowling Green and Tribeca

There are a handful of NYC bakers here. Try putting "Manhattan meet-up" in the title, to get their attention.  Just edit this one, you don't need to create a new post.

Are there bread interest groups on www.meetup.com ?    Are New Yorkers into meetup.com, or is it a land of strangers, everyone looking into their black mirror?

There are a ton of meetups in NYC on that site. I have gone to a few for other interests, but I wasn't keen on it. I don't need an entire group. Just one person.
