I have a ten year old messed up Hobart N50 that I want to sell cheap.

Here is a more attractive picture of my dented and non-working Hobert N50 that I want to sell for cheap. The movers dropped it and dented it, and now it doesn't work. it is still attractive though. Sigh. - Mary Jane

How much do you want for it? Where are you  located (trying to gauge shipping costs)? Do you have any more pictures of it?

Hi Veriqster, I don't have a clue about how much I should ask for it. I am in New Jersey. I have a bunch of pictures, and I tried to load them, but I don't think I succeeded. Sigh. - Mary Jane

Hello!  I also would like to know how much you want for it, and where you are.  Thank you.

Hi lawrence1l, As I told Veriqster, I don't know what I should charge for it. I am in New Jersey. I did try to load more pictures on the website, but I think I failed. Thanks for your interest. - Mary Jane

To have it fixed, it might cost a fortune. It looks ok, but the heavier it is, the harder it falls!!

I once had a Kenwood machine. One day I came home & found the top part of it cracked!! I had people staying with me at the time. Things would get broken & no one would man up to it!! having gotten so tired of that, I moved out & left them there.

Yes Camarie,

Yes, it will cost me a fortune to fix it, and it is sooo heavy. The Hobart people said it will cost $700 dollars to fix. Too much for me.

And, yes, what happened to you is what happened to me: nobody manned up and admitted to dropping it. I'm sure the moving company did it, but it took me so long to get my new place organized and for me to start baking bread again, I wasn't able to prove the moving folks were the ones who did it. Sigh. Oh well. Thanks for telling me about your experience. - Mary

So how much would you sell it for? If it is reasonable, I'd buy it from you and pay the $700 to get it fixed.

Dear Camarie , I would sell it to you for $250. Do you consider that to be a reasonable price? If you do think that is a reasonable price, I would like to discuss the details of the deal by email and not on the forum. I'm not sure how we would do the email thing. Maybe you know. - Mary Jane

If you get a chance please send some pictures to my email. the email address is the username I use on the forum, it's a gmail address.

Also, what did the Hobart repair shop say it needs?

Dear veriqster,

I cant figure out how to send you an email. Here are some more pictures. The bill I included here said what needed to be done to my Hobart. I will look for the bill from the Fairfield, NJ Hobart company which said it would be $700. I'll look for it.

Sincerely,

Mary Jane
