Bread Alone

just received a copy of Bread Alone..Excellent bread book from Daniel Leaders story to the recipes. Breads go from yeast breads to sourdough and batter quick breads. I have a lot of bread books. This ones a keeper. Anyone ever use it? I bought it from Thrift Books.com. very reasonable and cheap or free shipping

to your question but did want to thank you for the link  to Thrift Books.  I bookmarked it along with Alibris books.  I enjoy browsing books and occasionaly find one I really want.  Although not bookmarked I also visit Powell's books in Portland.  http://www.powells.com/locations/powells-city-of-books

There are several old links on TFL on numerous errors in the first edition of Bread Alone. I don't know if these were corrected in later editions. If you have a first edition you should check old postings here for details.

my copy is from 1993 first edition. I will check out the links.  Thanks. Made a country hearth loaf with herbs and onion...Fabulous. I did notice he doesn’t use an autolease. I just automatically did it.
