Hello all-

My husband recently completed our brick oven, we have made the very best pizza ever, I hope to graduate to bread making as well.

 

I have enjoyed this forum, and cannot wait to read more.

I am new as well to the site and to making bread :)  My husband and I are going to try to make home made pizza from a recipe we found on this site:)

I promise that if I can share all my snow with all of you or my cold weather I will :) Don't fret, I am not a stingy snowlover :)

Hi, I'm new as well!

Brick oven! That's awesome. My dad and I plan to make one over the summer. We're going to put it on the side of are house. We're on a nice dead-end street on a high hill(we have about 32 steps to get up to our house) so no worries about neighbors trying to get some of the nice pizza and bread we'll be making. ;-) May I ask how did your husband find the plans to make the oven? If you have any usefull websites or books that could help, I'd love it if you could share. :)

My husband is a custom home builder, so there were no set plans. I can send you photos if you are interested.

Photos would be lovely! I'd love to see pictures of one of you pizzas, too, if you have them. Pizza is my all time favorite food. =3
