What is a barm cake? They look lovely.

They are a sort of north of England speciality.
Up north they or most think they are better than sliced bread,
I'm a Londoner, so can't really see what they rave about.
It's kind of sourdough roll, Ok but not worth all the raving about them, :-)))) qahtan
