Had to google that one - it's new to me. We have a classic:

Trouble is... Bread rarely lasts long enough to toast...

Don't forget your toast tongs! Ours were made by someone local to us. but:

Loving those tongs....only 2 of us now so there is always toast can not consume a whole loaf in a day. Wish we could so I could bake more....would of loved the dualit classic but my bread is not worthy yet... lol

bread bakers might be a bit of an odd breed...  Seriously - who else would get so excited about a toaster?!

I had never heard of this make, so went searching and am totally impressed --- definitely a worthy investment and one the justifies the excitement.  An appliance actually made to be maintained and serviced for long-term use is an incredible rarity these days, and should be supported whenever possible.  I'm so glad that you posted this - I've got it bookmarked for when my current toaster reaches the end of its usable life (I'm guessing fairly soon, actually)...

Thanks - and happy toasting!

I do get excited about the strangest things...lol I am a sucker for what I think are quality products don't often get them but look after them when I do.....wish I had saved for the kitchenmaid mixer...but didn't know if I would keep baking so opted for Kenwood about a third of the price, I now know Kitchenaid will be my next mixer. My toaster should come next week ...will let you know my verdict, husband took a bit of convincing so Im hoping its as good as they say it is...these toasters are used in commercial situations cafes etc. so Im hoping for longevity and quality...

I hope mine lives as long as that !!!...I know there are a few different models of Kenwood I got the MultiOne at a bargain price and its working great, the one thing I don't like so much is the skinny dough hook...The kitchenaid  has a nice thick  chunky one, but the power seems pretty good, so fingers crossed.

.. tend to be built so that they don't last too long.  Personally, I hate that as it's such a waste but it seems that the majority of us don't want to pay for quality.  It is such a joy (for me) to use something that is well made - as an engineer, I can appreciate it.

I think your right about the build quality things are not what they used to be...you hope if it cost  more it might be better made but a lot of the time its design over quality. Kenwood does have a good reputation and I love the design of kitchenaid and hope it has the quality its a mine field out there....lol
