An interesting question for men about sorghum

I know this seems offtopic to bread making but it's a very interesting subject so bear with me.

Sorghum should increase dehydrotestosterone production via increasing 5 alpha reductase enzyme activity. Several people have reported increased libido and other mental and physical effects from consuming sorghum bread and sorghum derived beverages.

Due to genetic and physiological differences between men and women I don't think it's possible for women to experience any effect from sorghum products like some men have reported but if any woman believe they have they're free to comment.

So my question is whether any man who has consumed a sorghum product has experienced a relevant thing?

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) a byproduct of testosterone is the main culprit in male pattern baldness.  It's also one of the causes in female baldness.  Drugs like propecia and avodart are DHT suppressors used to treat male baldness.  They aren't recommended for women, but some doctors will prescribe propecia for post-menopausal women.

It is binding to androgen receptors at the scalp area that causes most cases of baldness but it's much more complicated than such. Lots of people with high dht levels retain scalp hair. Anyway, it's an entirely different subject. I am only interested in experiences with consuming sorghum products.

Some of the 5-ar enzymatic activity happens in the testes. Hence the reason women may not experience any effect.
