Spiral Dough Hook
Hello, my name is Skip. I am fairly new to bread baking. I have been at it for about a year and a half and am excited to learn more from this wonderful site! My Question today is, does anyone know if there is a spiral dough hook available for our Kitchen Aid mixer? It is the Standard size model built by Hobart that we've had since we were married in 1981. I've looked at a couple spiral dough hooks and they are too big for our counter top mixer with a tilt head. Thanks.

Again, it depends on the KA mode.
To the best of my knowledge, standard KA spiral dough hooks will not fit any KA tilt head mixers. They will fit only models that have a fixed head and bowl lift mechanism.
