Sunflower Seed Sandwich Loaf

I have always done a lot of baking but never with a sourdough starter. On Jan 1st. I  decided it was time to learn. I made a starter from the KA recipe and with the help of all the advice from here and the trials and tribulations of getting one started I finally had a active bubbly sweet smelling starter. I quickly started my first artisan loaf and.....we don't talk about it, it tasted good but looked nothing like the products pictured here. I figured it was just too young and went on to make waffles and sandwich buns that both came out looking and tasting excellent. Today I made my first product that I am proud to present, a loaf of Sunflower Seed Sandwich  Bread. It is a 50% blend of whole wheat and bread flour , and two cups of 100% starter with a little salt, honey, butter and sunflower seeds. It took three and hours to rise, the crust is crunchy with a nice lite crumb. Now that I think my starter is mature enough I will try a beginners artisan loaf. I'll present it no matter how it comes out for comments and advice.

Hey FloridaShark, I'm a newbie at baking, however, that bread looks delish. Would you mind sharing your recipe?

You can find the recipe here: http://www.food.com/amp/recipe/sourdough-sunflower-bread-31998

It calls for using a bread machine to mix the dough. I used my Kitchen Aid mixer with a dough hook and simulated the machine cycles letting the dough rest a few times during the mixing process. Good Luck
