This is typical with items on Amazon. The price jumps around. As I type this, the price is $325. Beware this particular model. It doesn't accept some of the standard 6-quart accessories that work with the other mixers. You'll notice that the bowl flares at the top. I read that this model was originally made exclusively for Costco.
