Hello from Istanbul

Hi everyone! 

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is kerem, and I'm a 24 years old cook from Istanbul. I changed my career firstly from economics to cooking last year, and went to a culinary school. At the beginning of 2017, I will shift from cooking to baking, and learn from a good baker in Istanbul while getting paid,  will be a huge career change. And while I was searching online, gladly I found this network and signed up right away. Sorry if I use wrong english, hence it's not my mother tongue lol. As a beginner, I am really open for any advices and book recommendations from all of you. I really have a big interest in baking, but never got the opportunity before. My goal is to learn this in a short period of time and master the skills in the Turkish bake products which has a huge variations. The artisan bakery and sourdough trend is highly rising in Turkey as well; and the access to all of the organic flours and stuff, it is really fun. And the science of making bread is really got me in. I really want a warm welcome from you guys and also want to be active and ask all kinds of questions in this network.

a year and a half ago. You live in an incredibly beautiful city. We did get to try some of the food there and it was delicious! I remember enjoying the bread too. I am looking forward to your posts. And welcome to TFL!
