Someones white sourdough loaf

Ive just baked someones sourdough recipe cant remeber who's but could be Susans! it goes three quarters cup of starter, same water, 2.5 cups bread flour, 2 tsps oil, i'm sure youll know whos it was. Well what a crackin loaf!!!!!!!! cant wait to do it again.

Thanks whoevers recipe it was.

Definitely Susan's recipe! Doesn't it make great bread? Did you use a Pyrex bowl or the much safer stainless steel? Glad you like it, A.

Used a metal bowl to cover it, I'll have ago with mixture of white wholemeal flour next and see what happens.

Ive just done a recipe using cider and a small amount of water in a similar recipe and also using white, wholemeal and rye for the flours, small amount of  fresh yeast, levain  starter and  salt (salt aded later). Turned out very nice but as usual you can't taste the cider even though it was quite a large quantity. Ive done other recipes using beer and Guinness!. Im begining to agree with  baker called Andrew Whitley that its best to make the bread and drink the beer!
