I posted a more complete and detailed comment some time ago but canlt find it with the search feature

I would rather slit my wrists and lay down in the gutter then do it again.  But, don't worry, once you figure it out it is only mildly insane to actually do it but you could not come up with a more complex and infuriating way to post pictures even if you were the best programmer at Apple:-)

Just think how great this site is even with the sharp stick in the eye when it comes to adding a photo...and good it reallly could be.......

for posting pictures. I post them first on Facebook (sometimes I make them private so I am the only one to see them and posting Picts on Facebook is super easy from an iPhone), go to my MacBook Pro and open the pictures on Facebook in a new tab or page, then copy the URL into this site's pop up picture window. I adjust the size to 400 or 500 pixels in the first size box, leave the second box empty so that the proportions stay correct, and then click the insert button.

This saves me the hassle of sending the Picts from my phone to my computer, resizing them, uploading them to either my server or another picture site and then going through the hoops posting them here. This should also work on a PC. My way is quite a bit faster.

Hope this helps!

I take the photos with my ipad using the square option. I open the photo and rotate it 2x, exit and then go back to rotate it further to the correct alignment usually another 2 x. It seems to work & if I forget, the photos will be upside down! I follow Floyd's upload instruction but find the most difficult part is to relocate the photo where I want it :( but I do get there. A small price to pay for such an awesome site!
