Does Wheat Gain Weight From Sprouting?

Hi, I'm new here. I am wondering if wheat berries change in weight, from sprouting. If I need 600 grams of finished flour; would I just sprout 600 grams of berries?

when you dry them before grinding they lose that water weight and return to normal.  That is how you know that they are dry  when they weigh 600 g again.  Just don't dry them at ore than 105 F   Mime take 3.5 hours to dry in the dehydrator.  But you have a lot more than I usually make at one time so it will take longer to dry.

Happy sprouting
