Submitted by Bart on November 24, 2007 - 5:59am Buttermilk ClusterWell, I made the buttermilk cluster and I think it looks nice. Let me know what you guys think. I had to cut it into pieces because I don't have a bread bag that is large enough. So I hope you'll enjoy the pics, and feedback is welcome. I tasted it and I dropped some sesame seeds on top and the taste is super. First you get the flavor of the buttermilk and when you chew the crust you get this baked sesame seed flavor. I know you guys might have eaten this a lot, but for me it was the first time and I am pretty sure that I will bake this one again.
Oh yeah, I used the recipe that Floyd posted but I found that 1 3/4 cup buttermilk is too much. Did I do something wrong? Or does my flour don't absorb this amount of liquid? BTW : thanks for all the great recipes on this site Floyd. I would never have baked this one if you did not posted the recipe. Thanks! Bart

I don't think you did
I don't think you did anything wrong. My flour may have just been tighter packed than yours.
Looks great!
Buttermilk cluster
Yes, it certainly does, I can just taste a piece topped off with a little butter. Good for you, Bart, you don't need to change a thing.
Looks very nice..
I was wondering, please don't take this the wrong way, but did you know that this is a pull apart loaf of rolls? You could have just pulled apart some sections to bag, rather than slicing it in sections.
Haha, yeah Paddyscake, I
Haha, yeah Paddyscake, I know you need to pull it apart, just thought it would be easier to cut it in half to fit in a paper bread bag. Thanks for letting me know. :-)
Thanks for the feedback guys, appreciate it.
