Seeing new stuff

Hi, I'm Mark. I've been baking yeasted loaves for many years but started sourdough only in the last year or so and am rather hooked.

I have had a quick look around the forum but am missing something that I see in most other forums that I use: in such an active forum it is usual to have a way to see what is "unread since last login" so one sees new threads or threads that have been updated and not everything else.

is there a way to do that on here? Or have I got to dip into every sub-board to see if there are new items?

Thanks.

you can see a list of recent topics. I don't think that TFL has the capability that you speak of or I haven't found it. The interface of TFL is a bit clunky (sorry Floyd) but the quality of the info more than makes up for it.

designated on the recent content list.  Anything you haven't read is marked new.  Once you read a post any comment on that post is marked new.  Also anything you have read goes into your my recent list which focuses on the new things that have been posted only on topics you have read and posted to.

I think this does what you are looking for and Welcome to TFL

Try scrolling to the bottom of the screen and clicking on the Activity Tracker (in the footer) while you are logged in. It will list forum and blog posts by most recent activity first, and tell you how many new/unread threads and/or replies. It may not be exactly what you're used to, but I think it will tell you what you want to know.
