I've been infrequently baking sour dough bread for about 2 years.  Got my start and courage to start from the excellent videos on the Breadtopia website. 

Now, I'm looking to kick things up a notch and wanted to find an active bread baking forum.  This seems to be it. 

I have minimal baking equipment.  My baking cloche is a decent cast iron dutch oven, and my proofing baskets have been the best bowl I had available at the time, lined with a floured cloth napkin.  However, I'm looking to expand my repertoire so I've been adding more equipment and realized I could really use some help in making my selections.  Which is why I'm here.  I'm thirsty and ready for help and advice. :

p.s. I feel compelled to mention that I'm vegan so I do all of my baking dairy and animal product free.  That said, this is my personal choice, I'm not a crusader, so, no judgement towards anyone else or their dietary choices. I'm looking forward to sharing with anyone who's interested. :-)  .

Yes, I too think you have come to the right place. Lots of knowledgeable and friendly folks around here with years and years of experience, eager to assist in any way.

This forum has a lot of depth of knowledge in its archives so I highly recommend some searches on particular subjects that interest you.
