AdBlock Plus

Click on the green download button and follow the prompts.  It's free and gets rid of the ads.

I did this and at first thought it hadn't worked - popups were still there and I couldn't figure what else to do.  BUT magically yesterday and today there have been no more popups! phew!! what a relief.

AdBlock Plus may be enough, but this kind of activity can sometimes happen with some kind of malware infection on the computer - I'm more familiar with PC's than Apple products, but it's always good to run something like MalwareBytes whenever you get suspicious pop-ups - it's not connected to TFL, especially since it's only happening on your ipad.

Good luck dealing with it!

Having the same problem with iPhone 5S with the latest iOS.  No problem with mac OS.

No problems with any other sites using the iPhone.

It worked for me back in May. I notice other things that irritate me with the latest iOS but pop ups not an issue this time. In particular the home button on my ipad mini (and it is only a couple of months old!)  doesn't seem to work the same as before. :( will wait and see if updates fixes it.

When that happens to me with an iPhone or iPad I usually find that clearing the cache and cookies takes care of the problem.  It's usually just a cookie left behind by some advertiser or another.
