Hi from a newbie sourdough baker

Hi, I've just joined as I was looking for somewhere to get inspiration and advice.

I'm a home baker although a did a few artisan bread courses at the local college a few years ago.

I made my starter a few weeks ago and have been baking almost daily sourdough for the last two weeks - with varying results in size but all tasting great luckily!

I normally aim to bake by 7am during the week (later at the weekend) so it's ready to make mine, DH and our daughter's lunchbox!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you :)

Many of us here baking daily - both yeasted and natural levian breads. I do the "microbakery" thing in rural Devon, England.

Maybe go to your profile page and fill in some details? (although it's not compulsory!) and don't forget to post photos :-)

Cheers,

-Gordon

Thanks Gordon

Filled in some details, hadn't seen that bit earlier!  You're a bit further along the coast than me.

I will share some pictures, assuming I get chance to take them before the family dig in :)
