Hi Gordon it's not that type of sourdough that you keep going it's a dried yeast version it's the second time I've used it! Check out bakerybits uk I

I use Bakery bits myself (when I want to spend money!!!) but never that product - looking now - yes, it's just a dried yeast with some added flavourings/dried sourdough by the looks of it....

So - time to get your own sourdough starter going :-)

Or if you're near Devon come & get some off me... (Although I'm sure Patrick @ BB will want to sell you some of Vanessa Kimbles live starter ;-)

This dried sourdough is really good don't knock it unless you've tried it! Thanks for your offer however I already have my own 10 year old culture ! And I don't mind spending money to try out new products! Us Yorkshire men are not as tight as you may think! LOL

as I was given a packet of something similar a while back.

Yorkshire man spends money - film at 11 !!! :-)
