I am completely new to baking. I have a recipe offering only abbreviations. I understand WW and AP.

LOL, we deal with them everywhere, no?

In this case, BF means Bread Flour, which has a higher level of protein than does All Purpose Flour.

Hope that helps. Welcome to baking and to TFL (The Fresh Loaf)!
